Partner

Fred Semrau is a partner in the firm of Dorsey & Semrau and has practiced municipal law for over 25 years. He has represented numerous municipalities in the capacity of Municipal Attorney, Special Tax Counsel, Special Litigation Counsel and Conflicts Counsel. Fred also serves as Associate Counsel for the League of Municipalities. Throughout this time period, the concentration of Fred’s practice has been in representing public entities which includes employment practices, training, litigation management and serving as general municipal counsel.

Fred is a graduate of Fordham University and is a Certified Public Accountant (license inactive)and a graduate of Seton Hall Law School in 1993.

Fred has been fortunate enough to serve a number of municipal clients for more than 10 consecutive years.
